Alexian Brothers Tour of Elk Grove – The Top Multi-Day Cycling Event in the Nation!

Quickly gaining momentum across the globe as the premier international cycling event for professional and amateur competitors, the Alexian Brothers Tour of Elk Grove returns on July 30-August 1 with 15 races and 3 full days of non-stop thrills. USA Cycling has ranked the event the top multi-day cycling event in the nation! An impressive $150,000 in total prize money, including the richest 3-day, men's pro cycling purse in the world, draws top athletes from the U.S. and 22 countries. Spectator seating and live jumbo-screen feed at the start and finish lines will get you up close to the action, not struggling for a sideline view. One of the highlights of the weekend is a 95 mile Road Race coursing through the streets of Elk Grove Village. The Fundraising Ride gives you a chance to compete in a time trial against the pros with 100% of proceeds benefiting the Elk Grove Village’s Soldier Memorial Fund. Its not ALL just about racing though, there are plenty of kids activities, spectator events, concerts, entertainment, fireworks, & food to keep you busy. Even if you’re not a fan of cycling, I can tell you from personal experience, you’ll quickly get caught up in the excitement. With free admission, what a great opportunity to get your kids fired up about an emerging sport and maybe help them discover a new passion.
