Okay, I admit it, I am lazy and I have a restaurant spot for every night of the week. My brain has managed to catalog a list of dining deals for every night I don’t feel like cooking. Today, I happily share my newest gem. Chicago Prime is my new Monday spot for ½ price appetizers and ½ price wines.
From the moment you walk in the door, you’ll feel welcomed, almost as if you’re being invited into someone’s home. It’s a true throwback the old Chicago establishment and a time when customers were family, and dining was a social event not a gluttonous time trial. Yet different from similar restaurants, Chicago Prime is modern and elegant, not dated and pretentious. Aside from favorites like Steak and Cake (filet and jumbo crabcake) and an impressive seafood menu, you can also enjoy live jazz, pop, and standards Wed-Sat.
